Physician and health examinations - with special emphasis on disorders of the musculoskeletal systém and related complications + preventive
examinations by prescription
Healing treatments – individual therapeutic programme based on guest’s health and physician’s prescription which includes up to 30 treatments per week (7 nights). The therapeutic programme includes the optimal selection from more than 60 various treatments provided by Spa Piešťany facilities. These treatments are selected from the groups below:
- treatments using the unique thermal mineral water and healing sulfurous mud (mud pack, mud pool, mirror pool, individua tub baths)
- special rehabilitation using group therapeutic physical training
- other treatments based on a physician’s prescription composed from rehabilitation, massages, hydrotherapy, heat therapy, electrotherapy, oxygen
therapy, carbontherapy and other treatments
Full board – buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner; dietary food in case of physician’s recommendation or guest’s regest
Diagnostics and laboratory tests – blood count, differential leukogram, sedimentation, hepatic tests (AST, ALT, GMT, bilirubin), cholesterol (total, HDL, LDL), triacylglycerols (body fats), urea, serum creatinine test, uric acid, chemical urine test, blood pressure, heart pulse, lectrocardiograph, body weight, glycemic profile, X-Ray examination

CONTRAINDICATIONS - Spa Piestany do not provide their service to people with the following diseases
-infectious diseases
-serious heart diseases
-acute thrombophlebitis
-inflammatory rheumatic diseases in acute state
-tumour diseases with metastasi
-acute psychosis
-labile diabetes with repeated acidosis, pregnancy
-dependency on alcohol or other habitual substance
-incontinence of urine or stool
-states requiring constant care by a third person
-epilepsy with frequent seizures
